A relatively new weekend tradition for TheOccasionalFags is Sunday morning Brunch at CUP Diner in Astoria where in which monies can be idled away on the vice of state sanctioned gambling in the form of quick pick numbers.  Hey, you never know...

Actually, you do know, but still and none the less, even in defeat we have fun.

Back in December OccasionalFag Brian G. made it to the Light Up The Night Demonstration for Marriage Equality in New York City.  

Much has been made online about how these demos, that took place across the country (similar to the City Hall Demonstrations a month earlier), were not the best use of our community's limited resources.  Not an easy call to make, but if nothing else, we here at TheOccaisonalFag bet that all who were involved with this demo here in NYC wish it could have taken place when the weather was a little less bitter and uninviting.
